In my opinion unions should be held to formal grievance procedures because then a proper conversation could happen.

The following are the advantages if we follow a formal grievance procedure:

1. It helps to resolve the disputes.

2. It helps to create a good impression in front of management and get perks accordingly.

3. A neutral party decision can happen.

4. Fair representation of skills can be encouraged.

5. Resolves differential issues.

6. Creates more beneficial employment opportunities.

7. Helps to train all the new methods at work place.
