Fine Art, Graphic Design, Architecture, Fashion, and Film do not exist in isolation. Appraise a piece of pop culture that you have encountered this week (a logo, a photograph in a fashion magazine, a piece of furniture, a movie) and critique its use of formal visual elements (color, pattern, lighting). Consider what effect these visuals have on you as the viewer. (Is it calming, tactile, aggressive?)
This week I came across a movie theatrical that is full of action sequences. People today are more enthusiastic and energetic these days and are thrilled with little excitement in their daily lives. Movies that are action-based triggers the adrenaline rush and excites its audience. We have seen there are people who are a fan of the 'Fast & Furious' series of movies. They are completely action-packed and great entertainers. The poster of the latest movie of the F&F series seems very appealing and exciting, with the coming back of the character "Han" and also one of the most famous WWE wrestler John Cena. The trailer seems promising and looks like it will keep its audience engaged from beginning till the end of the movie.
