In BC, in 2010, a worker was injured every 4 minutes and a workplace fatality occurred every 2.5 days. Why are there not more convictions under Bill C-45?

There are not more convictions under Bill C-45 because Bill C-45 amended the Canadian Criminal code and became law in 2004. Currently Bill C-45 is being used to respecting cannabis in Canada and it has become legal to possess and consume cannabis in Canada. Though there are strict rules and regulations in place for workplace related injuries and fatalities but there haven't been much convictions under the law since the authorities didn't take the law seriously and companies somehow got away even after fatalities occuring in their plants. However now the law has been stricter and no more such incidents have gone unnoticed.
