✓ in an organisational context, not a single leadership style or traits are stated to be suitable for all the situation. Every leader has different capabilities, learning, experience, attitudes and way of influencing the people. In fact, the theories of leadership involves various assumptions, criticisms, and different approaches, that makes it complicated to apply in actual practice.
Leadership development evolving from the various theories viz, traits, behavioural, and so on. There are lot of concepts and characteristics, that determine leadership development. But, these theories are not necessarily be applied to the actual leadership. Every organisation needs different approaches and leaders can't just pick one theory and get the work done. It needs to combine Various concepts, styles and use suitable ways to deal with people and resources, for getting the best results.
Therefore, there is a huge gap between leadership theories and practices.
