Answer #1

Answer:

Forest vegetation is very important for the hydrologic cycle to function properly. It stops excessive water evaporation due to the direct sun-heat. This leads to increased water presence for other animals, vegetations. It also helps to maintain the soil moistures and maintain groundwater levels. It also stops water from running off to the wetlands. Forest vegetation attracts rain that helps to maintain the hydrological cycle. It also intercepts rainwater to directly reach the soil and remove the upper layer.
