If we have data like number of sales in an year then we have to use number charts.
If we have data like amount of sales done last year then we have to use line charts
Data that represents the sales that are done in different countries then we have to use maps.
To compare a top products of a company with their sales then we need to use horizontal bar graphs
To show products sale by country and by category spider charts are preferable.
To display a data in a raw format then tables are preferable.
Like wise each type of data deserve different type of tools for better understanding by the user. We need to find out what type of tool will visualize better for the provided data.
