Patagonia's ability and their environmental , social and economic mission

Patagonia has shifted its mission to save the planet and prevent unnecessary harm. They have involved in number of activities which involves environment protection

They have expanded its program of used clothes.According to founder Mr. Chouinard, they pay 900 grants annually to social activists and pay social organization that repairs bicycles.

They have three factors to get resources to get indulge in the business which aims to protect the planet are regenerative agriculture where it has hired 100 farmers from India to grow cotton which has been increased to 450 by this year.They adopt regenerative farming by growing and weeding the cotton by hand, and trapping insects without using any chemicals.

Second element is politics, where they have endorsed their candidate in election of mid term 2018 and became 1st consumer company to do so.

Third strategy is of protected land. As they have advocated for public lands.Mr. Chouinard has get into dialogue with President of Tompkins Conservation to make park at tip of South America where there is swamp land which absorbs huge amount of carbon. And they donated Tompkins conservation $185000 for the same.
