So, we need to address each of these aspects separately and come up with a solution. The very first thing that we need to do is to start looking for an alternate supplier who can be brought on board.

The next thing would be to properly forecast the demand and then convert into parts and convey this to the supplier, which in SCM teams is called scheduling the demand.

Once the supplier has the forecasted demand we can work with them and support them so that the additional volumes can be met through various means. For example, the company cannot produce more due to storage constraints the Avion team can make arrangements for the storage of the excess inventory if the fund is an issue than the Avion team can purchase the raw material and sell it to the supplier at some credit.
