If we have E(sinX+Y|Y) . How can I write this in different way? I mean we know the for example if we have E(aX+Y|Y)=aE(X,Y)+Y. Also what will happen if we have E(ax+Y^2|Y)?

Thank you in advance

sorry , I mean E(aX+Y^2|Y)

    If we know that E[Y|X] = E[Y], then we also know that X and Y are independent. [For those of you not used to this notation, E[Y] is the "expectation" of Y. This may have been introduced to you in another Statistics course as m or the population mean. Extending this, E [Y|X] is the expectation of Y given X.] a)True b)False

    Q4. Let 1.01 0.99 0.99 0.98 (a) Find the eigenvalue decomposition of A. Recall that λ is an eigenvalue of A if for some u1],u2 (entries of the corresponding eigenvector) we have (1.01 u0.99u20 99u [1] + (0.98-A)u[2] = 0.     Problem 1 Suppose X ~ fx(x), and let Y = aX + b. We know that E(Y) = aE(X) b, and Var(X)a2Var(X). What about the density of Y, fy(y)? Assuming a > 0. Calculate fy(y) using the following two methods (1) Let Fx() P(X x). Calculate Fy(y) = P(Y < y) in terms of Fx. Then calculate fy (2) Calculate Y (y, y + Ay)) Ay fr(y) (3) Give geometric explanations of your result
