This Dataset can be treated as the data of the Flight with year, month and passengers and now let's say we want to know, the months of maximum tixket sales, so that we can prepare things , before hand?

The Heat-Map with the counts of passengers, will be helpful.

Using the graph we can see that August and July are the two high density months.

Similarly, we can another example of, following tips data set of a restraunt

and to see the pattern of the tips or to predict tip for some, particular date

The above graphs will give the same, as w require and get to learn what is the pattern, of the tips in total throughout the year, and in the below diagram we have it as per the days which helps us understand if there is a different rate of payment in the tips.

The major use of visual analytics is to get a model or here a line or curve to fit and tell us more about the data and if there is a pattern, as well as for real time solution and initial ideation we have good enough estimates if we go for the visual graphs first as shown in above two examples.
