Do you favor or oppose allowing transgender person to use the bathroom/ locker room of the opposite biological sex?
I favour allowing transgender person to use the bathroom/ locker room of the opposite biological sex. The reason is, the gender identity of a transgender person may be totally different to the one they are born under (it may include - masculine, feminine, genderqueer, pangender, bigender, genderfluid, agender etc), and I think its their right to choose the bathroom/locker they would feel the most comfortable to use. While cisgender people enjoy the privilege of using their own allocated bathroom/ locker, the trans people are stuck in between not knowing if they can use whichever is comfortable for them, hence it is really necessary for everyone to be more considerate and educated on these things and be open to allow trans people to use the opposite sex utility areas so they do not have to feel discriminated against for their choice of gender identity.
