How can formal education help prepare future criminal justice employees and field practitioners?
Formal education is preferred in almost all the fields because the syllabus framed for the study covers almost all the theoretical concepts and the practical and projects would strengthen the understanding of the theory learned. This would ensure that the person is familiar with most of the issues that the person would face while employed in the field and would be well prepared. Formal education would also help one gain maximum exposure with different types of people thus would make one more mature and polish to handle issues. This maturity in terms of handing emotions, working with others, expecting the unexpected, sowing emotional intelligence all would contribute towards one’s personal and professional development.
