Answer #1

The reaction involve in the preparation of acetaminophen is

4-aminophenol + Acetic anhydride Acetaminophen

So the reaction is equimolar reaction and for particular quantity of substance to synthesize equimolar starting material is required. 2.15g of acetaminophen is equals to 0.014 mole. So we need 0.014 mole of 4-aminophenol = 1.526g

Water here used as common solvent so the quantity is not calculative still around 7-8ml will be perfect

Acetic anhydride required is also 0.014 mol = 1.428g

For obtaining 82% purified acetaminophen the mass would be (2.15 82)/ 100 =1.763 g
