The leader who is transformational, who makes a group of people influences the cause of individual and societal benefits. Mahatma Gandhi of India was one of the leaders who is lead by example. His policies and methodology were simple and clear. This attracted people to follow his rules. He was a simple man with great thinking. He was not born with leadership qualities but an incident in his life made his personality to be an initiator for the people who were discriminated on their skin color. Later he made an effective personality by working continuously for the welfare of the society later for the nation.
The actions were not political, technological but emotional and practical. He changed his dress as poor to empathize with the pain of the poor. The more you will look like them the more connection you will feel with them. So he left all his personal possessions to be minimum, he started living only for the basic needs that were a cloth just to cover his body, a little food to fulfil his hunger and a little house with some necessities. He made a revolution against Britishers in India by boycotting all the imported things, non-violence, Satyagraha this was his strategy because he knew he cannot fight with Britishers with violence as civil disobedience is not a correct way, he used to talk and negotiate so effectively that always gave him a win-win situation.
His leadership impact was so powerful that the whole of India was following him and even this resulted in a positive way by their independence from Britishers.
