What is the difference between continuous and partial reinforcement? Which one would you use if you would like to increase a targeted behavior very rapidly(and why)?

A continuous schedule of reinforcement occurs when reinforcement is delivered after every single target behaviour. On the other hand, a partial schedule of reinforcement takes place means reinforcement is delivered after some behaviours or responses but never after each one. Continuous reinforcement is much more effective than partial reinforcement when it comes to increasing a target behaviour rapidly.
