1. One sample t-test for the mean or Z-test for the mean.

Explanation: If the population standard deviation is given then the sample mean follows a normal distribution thus we'll use the Z-test here. But if the standard deviation is not given then using the sample standard deviation we will construct a test statistic that follows t-distribution thus we'll use the t-test here.
