Common errors are as follow-

1 Using open flames during the experiment. Because ethanol and acetone used in the experiments are very flammable.

2 Dry ice and liquid nitrogen should be handled very carefully, due to the risk of frostbite.

3 Putting dry ice or liquid nitrogen in a closed container, because each will build up pressure and explode the container.

How to fix these errors-

1 Immerse the apparatus’s bulb in the boiling-water bath.

2 Using safety glasses and insulated thermal gloves.

3 Use a wide-mouth Dewar flask containing liquid nitrogen.
