Answer #1
  • Dendrites differ from axons in that dendrites receive information, whereas axons send information.
  • Neurons have specialized projections called dendrites and axons. The function of dendrites is to bring information to the cell body and axons take information away from the cell body to different muscles, glands etc.
  • In Pavlov’s experiments on classical conditioning, the dog salivated each time the food was presented. The dog’s response to the food was an unconditioned response.
  • Everytime the food was presented which was an unconditioned stimulus, the dog salivated that was an unconditioned response(unlearned response to a stimulus)
  • A self-report test is also known as a objective test.
  • Its basically a type of test in which the person answers a survey type questionnaire, with yes or no responses related to opinions, personality traits, personal interests etc.
  • Thus, it can be concluded that Norman is in the process of establishing standardized norms.Standardized norms means when a researcher establishes a set of procedures for administering and scoring of the tests. Its basically to create a uniform criteria so that comparison becomes easy. They serve as a frame of reference interpreting scores.
