Discuss the issues associated with security and privacy in the context of the internet of things

There are many issues associated with internet of things,some of them are

• First thing is internet of things are collecting data from domestic appliances across the globe and transmits them over the internet for accomplishment of a task.So,we don't know how they are using that data and who all are accessing that data.
  
• As this data contains important data so now cyber criminals are targeting this data.
• As Iot devices are also connected to our laptops and phones and these two things contains very important data so during the transmission of this data across the internet there is a great risk of hack and this loss will cost us very high.
• Authentication is also not so good so if an unauthorized person will access the information they can harm physical safety.
• One of the biggest drawback is the information transmitted by devices are not encrypted as these information contains our bank account details,out personal information etc.
• In some devices we can't even change username and password.So anyone can access that device.
• Smart cars a new invention is good but comes with a risk of car hijack.

These are some risks and privacy concerns associated with security and privacy of IOT devices.
