An object of mass 2.34 kilograms is travelling to the west at 40.4 metres per second. It collides and sticks (perfectly inelastic) with another mass 4.88 in kilograms that was moving with a velocity 22.2 in metres per second to the south.   What is the magnitude of the final velocity of the combined object in metres per second? Just give me the speed here. I am not asking about the direction.
