The law I chose from Bob Pike was Law # 3: “Learning is Directly
Proportional to the amount of fun you have”. I chose this one
because it's important to catch the attention of your audience and
create a fun learning atmosphere where you can feel accessible and
confident listening to, understanding and retaining the
information. I believe a positive environment makes it easier to
practice because it can make the mood lighter. This law refers
that, "We can use our audience's attention, participation, and
engagement to bring the excitement they vicariously get from some
of their entertainment events into their personal learning
experiences. Humor can help greatly to reduce stress and anxiety,
particularly when it comes to learning.
There's an endless amount of ideas and ways to go when you offer
instruction, as long as you're reading, that's what you're all
about. Regardless of the method of education, there must be some
requirements for learning to take place and for workers to use what
they have learned in their work. There are a number of key factors
that need to be in place and always make things more suitable for
fun.
