a regular Gallup meta-analysis identified nine indications of employee disengagement. Everyone, does your company have growing problems with these issues?

Issues of the organization:

Yes! My organization as well is facing the following issues with the employees. The major being the absenteeism and low productivity.

The employees in the organization are not working effectively and there is lack of enthusiasm among the employees in relation to the work and the tasks given to them at workplace. This further results into low level of productivity at workplace with poor rate of output on the part of the employees.

How the culture is reinforcing the issues:

  • The major reason for this is unwanted rude behavior of the bosses
  • Lack of motivational factors present in the workplace.
  • The employees are not provided with financial incentives nor are they given non financial motivators to work effectively.
  • Poor workplace ethics and lack of empathetic behavior and attitude of the management working at higher ranks.
  • The culture of dictatorship, rather than an open and participative environment also reinforces the issues.

What need to be changed to change the culture:

  • The negative and rigid attitude of management had to be changed so that the employees feel motivated and happy to work in the organization.
  • The presence of inequality between the senior and junior employees had to be abolished so that all feel equal in the organization.
  • The culture of not listening to the employees and dictating terms on them need to be stopped so that a sense of belongingness inculcates within the employees.
