Two mechanisms for doing so are through the use of Fusion Centers and Joint Regional Intelligence Centers. How do these Centers differ?
Fusion centres are the efficient and effective mechanism to share the informations and data in order to protect our homeland from criminal and other attacks. Therefore many eminent experts across various agencies come together and collects data to have a common database. So a single person like fireofficer, police man can contact directly to this agency without going to different areas to have solutions for their problem.
Joint regional intelligence center is a California based center which they collects information from all the crime approach and convert it into operational data and protect the homeland from crimes and terrorist attacks.
When we compare both the above centres of mechanism JRIC is more powerful in their actions and approaches. But in the case of fusion centers they are more accessible to the local areas to get the help out of them
