Migration is a the most important cahllenge in today's world. The main reason behind the increase in the rate of migration is the uneven development of regions. The problem is that those regions which were traditionally powerful and rich, used their traditional capital and resources to create modern capital. As a result some of the centre developed while others lacked behind. As a result most of the regions were not even able to get the basic facilities. Hence in the search of good education, employment, healthcare etc there is a large scale movement of people from less developed ares to more development areas. These movements are both inter-state as well as intra-state.

I myself is a migrant living in the Capital city of India. I moved to delhi 10 years ago. When i first came here i had to face many problems. You must be aware of the fact that dicrimination is a reality in every society. I come from the state of Bihar, which is the poorest state in India. The percapita of Bihar is approx $300 per year. Just imagine only $300 per year . As a result majority of us don't even get basic life standard. We don't have food, heathcare facilities, education etc. Because of these reason I moved to the capital city.

The problems which I faced here are

1 Landlords denied renting his flats to me

2The people from Bihar is seen as a anti-social element

3 They are an abuse for the society

4 Anthig bad happens in the society, "oh the offender must be from Bihar" is what I get to hear.

I am sure as a migrant you should have also face many types of discrimination. However despite these discrimination, one thing which keeps me going is that I have seen all the hardships in my life. I know what does it mean for my parents to achieve something in life. They face lots pf problems and despite that they are making sure that i don't suffer.. These thing keeps me going.
