* Difference between absolute vo2 and relative vo2 is that absolute vo2 is non weight bearing activities and relative vo2 takes body weight into account.

* Relative vo2 better than absolute vo2 because absolute vo2 reflects the total amount of oxygen consumed by a body regardless of size, age and gender where relative vo2 indicates millimeters per minute per kilogram which indicates that score corrected to reference which happens to be a unit of mass or one kilogram.
