Describe an experience when you were provided both a clear vision of the organization's direction and goals.... what was the reaction and results among the team. Conversely, describe a situation in which no vision was provided and the team's reaction and results. What is the net effect and lessons you learned?
When a vision and goals are provided they act as motivation factors for a team to get the work done and be a part of the firm's success. For example a project is assigned to a team and the actual goal is explained to them. The team understands the importance of the project which makes them work with enthusiasm and put their maximum efforts. Hence it will be successful. When no vision is provided the team will be confused on how to take the project and will no show any interest in performing. For example a team does not know why the project is taken by the organisation, they will not be interested on how it ends because they do not know it's importance. Hence the effect will be on the organisation's performance and hence we need to have a clear vision and goal to complete a task individually or as a team with maximum efficiency.
