The family-institution is McDonaldized. Family members try hard to hold the family together in one piece through proper planning and execution. The elders try their best to keep the family together by attending to the needs of other family members and in the improvement of individuals and the family. They make wise investment plans, education plans, etc. This reflects efficiency, calculability, predictability and standardization, and control. Thus, it can be ascertained that family-institution is McDonaldized.

The government-institution is not McDonaldized, yet. The government plans several policies but it hasn’t covered every people of the nation yet. The welfare schemes, rights, justice, healthcare, education, etc., are yet to reach every corner of the world. This indicates that there is a lack in efficiency, calculability, predictability and standardization, and control. Thus is can be concluded that government-institution is not McDonaldized, yet.

The education-institution is McDonaldized. The education sectors around the world strives hard to create experts who can contribute to the growth and development of the mankind. The degrees, college study pattern, syllabus have made progress greatly but haven’t reduced the years of study required to get expertise in a discipline. The fields such as engineering, healthcare have changed their initial course of duration but haven’t adopted the immediate transfer of knowledge without purpose and just because it has to be done. Merits, equality are still followed with utmost care as any misuse shall result in disruption of peace in the society. Through these the efficiency, calculability, predictability and standardization, and control, which are the traits of a fast food restaurant.
