(projectile motion experiment) if the "motion implies an attached force" concept is wrong, what is the corresponding correct concept? which of newton's laws does this concept relate to ?

It relates to newton second law as there is a force in y direction so there is change in momentum along y direction however monentum is conserved along x direction so there is no change in speed along x direction and there is change in speed along y direction

This motion in xy plane is prohectile motion
