"Visual representations of evidence should be governed by principles of reasoning about quantitative evidence. For information displays, design reasoning must correspond to scientific reasoning. Clear and precise seeing becomes as one with clear and precise thinking."
In the first line the author tries to say that the evidences with the visual representations has to be controlled or maintained by the principles of reasoning about quantitative evidence.
In the second line, The information displaying and design reasoning must be very similar to the scientific reasoning.So it can leads to a clear view for the viewers that leads them to a perfect or precise thinking
