If I could learn one thing about iPhone customer, I would like to know if the customers want their smartphones in customised version and range of iPhone models with features specific to target customer segments rather than newer versions with additional features that may not be useful for all of its customers. I would like to understand from the customer that what are the most essential features and services that they want their iPhone to provide for customer use with quality performance and energy efficiency.
I would use focus groups as marketing research technique for finding the answer from customers. Focus groups have 10-15 persons that share their ideas, feedback and discuss about a product with a group moderator that can ask specific questions and moderate the discussion to seek the required answers about the iPhone usage and customer preferences.
