You estimate that the distance horizontally between crests is 6.0 m, and the different in height between the highest point (crest) and lowest point (trough) is 2.40 m. When you time the arrivals you calculate that 6 crests arrive in one minute. (You start the stopwatch when the first arrives and stop it when the 6^th arrives.) Write the equation for the wave.
