How would you apply the transformational theory leader-member theory (LMX) to improve an organization's performance? Discuss in the context of your own organization, an organization you have belonged to in the past, or another existing organization that would benefit from significant organizational improvement.
Basically, this Leader-Member theory(LMX) defines the relationship that a leader and his team member have. The bond that is between the manager and his each and every member shares. the quality of their relationship is the one which influences all the decisions, responsibilities and performances. This relationship is based on the trust and the respect that they give to each other and which is just beyond employement.
An organization's performance can be improved by applying this theory. Firstly, we should identify the capability of each and every member of the team, their capability, the ytrust that we can do on them then projects should be given to them so that without any problem they work on them to the fullest.
If I have to apply this theory in my organization, then i firstly i will analyse my subordinates, accordin to trust that i can develop on them and their capability. then will se how to behave with each of them. As I can't treat everyone in the same way because everyone is not same. Acoordingly, those subordinates of mine who are trustworthy and do work hard i will give them the most important projects to work on. and then the people whom i cannot trust much i will give them those projects on which they can work on to their fullest of their capability.
