Answer #1

First give a warm welcome to the parents and child individually so that they will feel very special and a positive connectivity will eventually happen when they are being welcomed with respect, smile etc. Arrange the room according so that everyone has the seat and you can also write their names on each chair so that there will be no disturbances between them.

The next thing is to introduce yourself to them. cover up all the educational background and experiences and also add about your family like the number of kids you have and what your husband is doing and give a simple speech about yourself. When you open up your own thing, it will make the parents to feel comfortable and they do not hesitate to tell about themselves.so after giving an introduction about yourself, ask them to share about themselves individually like about their family and child. Do not criticize them if something is wrong, maintain a smile and respect their words. give a light introduction about what the center will provide the children's for example, toilet training, how to eat food, the basic math, rhymes, how to communicate and so on.

Now ask the parents directly whether they are ok with the center or if anything has to be added or removed which is displeasing them. you can also get to know whether they are comfortable through providing them the rating scale or through asking questions in a paper so that they can give a brief answers.

Give orientations to the parents that they have to involve the children in making decisions and talk to them wisely and teaching the etiquette on how to respect and talk with elders. Only when the children and parents have a good communication, it will be very useful when they grow up and become adults, they will not have any hesitations and feel much comfortable with their parents like friends and open up their problems.

Technique that teachers may use to convey information, support, and interest to families:

-maintain a notebook where the teacher and child communicate daily aspects.

-use the technology like an email, whats app or a text message

-if any home work is given to the child and the child does excellently with the help of parents, then provide the child with small gifts and send a message to the parents as GOOD JOB.

-if parents tell that their child is week in some particular area or behaves inappropriately, give them the assurance they are their to take care of them and will be fine soon.
