Zinc has slightly larger electronegativity than Vanadium.

In general electronegativity value is increases in a period from left to right because atomic size is decreases.

The electronegativity is increases from Vanadium to copper largly, but in Zinc E.N value is slightly increases .because 3d orbital is completely filled with electrons in Zinc. Due to this , the size of Zinc is slightly increases.

Zn =30 = 1s2 2s2 2p6 3s2 3p6 4s2 3d10.
