The aspect of the course that I liked was that the course helped me understand sources of funding, capital structure of corporations and what actions can be taken by financial managers to increase the value of a firm. The use of theory was well integrated and augmented through use of numerical problems and this increased my grasp of the topic.
In terms of aspects that can be improved I would like the course to incorporate real cases from the corporate world and simulation exercises as well. This will increase practical exposure and will allow us to apply the theory in real life situations.
