Answer #1

1. One day advance - Regular sports drills, practice sessions.

One month in advance - Regional sporting event to be held next month, which will span over a week, in which teams from all 12 districs of the state are taking part.

One Year in advance - National Premier League games in which 800 athlete would be taking part, some of which are of international repute. The event will continue for 21 days and will attract over hundred thousand spectators.

2. The concerns of the residents would be regarding continuing activities which would cause noise pollution and deteriorating air quality due to increased traffic volume, which would ultimately affect the serene environment of the region, leqding to poor living conditions. Their concerns should be put to an end by establishing the stadium away from the populated areas, creating commercial complex to provide livelihood to the locals who would cater to the needs of the sportspersons and visitors.

3.The planning committee should have a member of town planning authority, one veteran sportsperson, one bureaucrat, one financial analyst, one environmentalist and one member from the local community.

4.Yes. a feasibility study is a must to know the volume of potential baseball lovers in the vicinity and the expected return on investment in the long run through ticket sales , commission and other commercial activities. The proceedings should be good enough to cover the cost of expenses incurred in building the facility on sustainable basis, and feasibility study is the only way to make an informed decision.
