An experiment was conducted to measure the density of a sugar cube. The mass of the cube was measured to be 3.91 gms. The length of the cube was measured to be 1.35 cm long. The height and depth of the cube were found to be exactly the same as the length. Calculate the density of the sugar cube.

Mass of cube,m = 3.91 g

Since it is given that sugar is in form of a cube,it means that it has equal sides.

Side of a cube,a = 1.35 cm

Volume of sugar cube,a3 = (1.35)3 cm3 = 2.46 cm3

Density = (mass/volume)

Density = (3.91/2.46)

Density = 1.59 g/cm3
