Why should the American public care about the nature, design, and operation of our governmental institutions?
The way nature, design and operational outlook of the government are important for the American people to care about since it impacts every possible aspect of their lives from their taxes on the price of coffee to the wages they get paid and how their healthcare process functions. We can say that the choices of the government and their function have a number of implications over the laws that are followed in the country as well as how we, as citizens interact with these laws.
It is also helpful if our decisions, about our choice for the government, need to be educated and not impulsive. Since Most of the times, what a government does is a clear indicator of their values and their working principles, we need to be able to keep ourselves in the knowledge in order to make better decisions at choosing our next government accordingly.
It also has a number of complications since we need to be able to select how businesses function and therefore if the government policies and interventions would have an impact over the economy of the country as a whole.
