We all know that cybercrimes have increased a lot overtime and this leads to huge amount of loss to companies and government every year Hence CNCI was developed in 2008 by president Bush to protect the security of united states in cyberspace.CNCI stands for National Cybersecurity Initiative and its main goals are defending against threats and establishing better cybersecurity for future.

NIST developed the framework for cybersecurity against the threats. NIST inculcates the set of rules and regulations of industry. NIST works with both government agencies as well as private sectors. It also uses a very common language for developing the framework.Impressed by it results Congress added that importance to NIST’s role through the Cybersecurity Enhancement Act of 2014. NIST also work with collaborators for adopting better practices and improving day by day. Hence NIST plays very vital role in preserving countries cybersecurity and strengthening the CNCI initiative taken by the government and increasing countries security against possible cyber threats and ensuring that companies whether government or private doesn't face any loss due ti cyber crimes held over the years. Since NIST features mentioned above completely states that they are in accordance with CNCI hence it supports CNCI.
