You use a spectrum analyzer to see what musical notes are coming from a cylindrical tube. The frequencies where the peaks are in the spectrum are 250 Hz, 750 Hz, 1250 Hz, 1750 Hz, ...

This tube is.....

A. Open at both ends.

B. Closed at both ends.

C. Open at one end, closed at the other.

(Please, teach me why these are different and how you can tell them apart from each other. This seems hard for me to measure if I don't have a starting frequency. what is the patter which allows the reader to know if it is open-open, closed/open, or closed-closed (when it comes to waves coming out of a tube) thanks!
