How specific is the temper designation "cold drawn?" What are some possible variables under this designation that may cause measured values (e.g. yield strength, tensile strength) to be different from published values?

COLD DRAWING - The process of cold drawing is to increase the length on expense of diameter by drawing through successively smaller dies without heating the material . Wire drawing is always a cold drawing process .

COLD Drawing is simply a process whih uses tensile force to elongate specific material , Cold drawing is usually done at room temperature .

Now , while doing cold drawing , mechanical properties do gets change and mostly are dependent on amount of cold working has been done on material . Amount of cold drawing increases mechanical properties like tensile strength and yield strength but cold drawing decreses ductility property .
