The following two tables extend the narrative from pages 61-65 of the illustrated version of THE GOAL by varying the output of Pete's fabrication area. Pete’s fabricating area can still process the sub-assemblies at an average rate of 25 units per hour. The robot can still process the sub-assemblies at a constant rate of 25 units per hour. Pete’s department will start processing at 12:00 noon sharp. The material handler will move all completed sub-assemblies from Pete’s fabrication department to the welding department at 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. So welding can commence at 1:00 p.m.

The predicted production schedule (from pg. 62) just prior to noon is:

Time Pete Robot
12 - 1 p.m. ±25 units
1 - 2 p.m. ±25 units 25 units
2 - 3 p.m. ±25 units 25 units
3 - 4 p.m. ±25 units 25 units
4 - 5 p.m. 25 units
TOTAL 100 units 100 units

Now, the actual production log from Pete's area after 5 p.m. looks like this:

Time Pete Robot
12 - 1 p.m. 26 units
1 - 2 p.m. 27 units ?? units
2 - 3 p.m. 24 units ?? units
3 - 4 p.m. 24 units ?? units
4 - 5 p.m. ?? units
TOTAL ?? units ?? units

Given what you know about Pete's actual production and the constant production rate of the welding robot, how many sub-assemblies will Alex and Bob have ready to ship to Hilton Smythe's plant at 5 p.m.? (Please input your answer as a number such as "37". There is no need to use the word "units".)
