Answer #1

Jenna is in an ambivalent state she is pulled in two different directions. It creates conflict and she is uncertain what she should do first. As a waiter, she has to take the order and serve the food she has to look after the comfort of the customers it is in her duty to correct any problem if arises. She is in a dilemma and unable to choose what she should do first.

Ambivalent is made of two words "Ambi" means both sides and "valent" means tied to something.

Jenna is tied to two circumstances first is taking the order and second is problem-solving, the situation has created confusion and dilemma as she is pulled from both sides and tied to her responsibility.
