Mechanism that keeps proteins out of urine

1.glomeruli to vide a barrier that keeps more larger plasma proteins inside blood.The small proteins that get through glomeruli are reabsorbed entirely by tubules.

If protein increases in urine it is called proteinuria. It occurs with defect of glomeruli or tubules of kidney. Inflammation of glomeruli allows larger proteins and even RBC'S to pass into blood. Tubule damage prevent proteins from reabsorbed.
