The global society which we live in today in highly unequal in terms of the living standards and the resources that are available for many of the countries. It can be seen that in many of the cases, the underdeveloped countries lack more than seventy percentage of the resources available for a developed country. Along with this, the disparities in equality, healthcare, laws against injustice and awareness among citizens vary between continents and countries. Modernization theorists explain this on the basis of the way in which the country transitions from tradition ways to modern ways. As a result, many of the traditions hold resistance to change against modern means which can hinder Development. They would also lack the resources for the same in many of the cases, and the need for it would be varied among different communities. The dependency theorists would state that the periphery of the poor and underdeveloped areas would provide resources to the core of developed states as a standard flow of resources, which can lead to depletion if resources in the former, and the concentration of wealth and resources in the latter.
