Discuss the similarities and differences between Client–Server and 3-Tier distributed architectures. There should be two short paragraphs, one on similarities and one on differences.

Differences:

  1. The client-server architecture consists of the client tier and database tier (data) whereas the 3 tier architecture consists of the client layer, business layer and data layer.
  2. In client-server architecture application performance will degrade upon increasing the users whereas in 3 tier architecture performance is good.

Similarities:

  1. Both are easy to maintain and modification is bit easy.
