This is what I have but can you explain to me what is happening. I just need more info please Water molecules are polar with one N positive and the other negative while oil molecules are nonpolar other polar molecules bond easily with polar molecules and nonpolar molecules only mix well with each other oil doesn't mix well with water leaving the biodiesel the clear candidate for water to bond with the two layers include the water molecules packed tightly at the bottom with the oil floating at the Top

Because of buoyant force is greater than the weight of oil

So oil floats on the surface of water
