My busy lifestyle does not permit me to lead an active lifestyle. In college days, I was a regular at gymnasium, but erratic work schedule, tight deadlines and awry social life has changed it all. The work often lasts up to 8 PM, and it takes an hour to be back to home. The friends often arrive at late evenings and it is usually 1AM till we hit bed. It is almost impossible to get up early in the morning, so the time for any kind of exercise is lost. In evenings it is not possible. Currently I find  my time on weekends but I believe it is not good enough. Last two weekends were spent in excursions, so no gym. I am seriously worried about it, as I see the ill effects of my lifestyle in form of fatigue and lethargy all week.

This week I decided to make it a point to sleep by 11PM. For this, I decided to speed up my work, leave social media habits and tried to finish off my tasks by 6PM so that I can leave by 7PM. It took some time to convice friends, but they also agreed to make it to the gym at 6AM in morning. The exercise schedule started again, and we spent half an hour circling the park and another hour doing light exercises. My muscles  pained for two days, as it was after a gap of months that I troubled them.

This week, I want to step up to more vigorous exercises with help of trainer. I feel more energetic, positive and light for rest of the day. I have lost my lethargy and can concentrate better at work. I finished by work well before deadline, and got myself few hours to watch a movie and chill out on Friday evening. I felt good when someone said that I look more cheerful and healthier than before. I am happy with the changes, and I look forward to more disciplined life.
