Exile in Babylonia , also called Babylonian Captivity, was forcefull detention of Jews in the city after Babylonia conquer the JUDAH kindom in 598-587 BCE.
However, Cyrus the Great conquered the Babylonia in 538 , and permiitted the JEWs to to return to palestine and most of jews returned to the Home state of Pallestien. However, several people remained there only in Babylonia .
