Solution:
Molar solubility = Solubility in g L-1 / Molar mass
Molar mass of silver sulphate (Ag2SO4)= 311.80 g/mol
Therefore, molar solubility = 4.7 g L-1 / 311.80 g mol-1
=0.01507 mol /L = 0.01507 M
Ag2SO4 is dissociated as,
Ag2SO4 = 2Ag+ + SO4^2-
Ksp = ( 2S)^2 x S =4S^3
Ksp = 4 x (0.01057)^3
Ksp = 4.64 x 10^-6

Calculate the molar solubility of Ag2SO4 in each solution below. The Ksp of silver sulfate is 1.5x10-5 a) 0.19 M AgNO3 b) 0.19 M Na2SO4
I found that the molar solubility of Calcium Sulfate is
0.00490 if its Ksp is 2.40x10^-5.
But I do not really know how to find the solubility of CaSO4
(136.2 g/mol) in g/mL.
Could someone also explain the different parts of this problem
as well please? (solubility, molar solubility, and Ksp)
Much thanks :)
